AIR TYPE NUTS ROASTER MACHINE AND ROTATING NUTS ROASTER MACHINE

When it comes to roasting nuts at an industrial level, choosing the right equipment is crucial for ensuring flavor consistency, efficiency, and product quality. Two of the most common options are Air Type Belt Roasters and Rotating Drum Roasters. Each comes with its own advantages and use cases.

Air Type Nuts Roaster Machine:

In belt-type nuts roasters, products are roasted using heated air. Once the inlet hopper is filled with nuts and the parameters (belt speed and roasting degree) are set, the belt continuously moves and carries the nuts toward the outlet. There are two roasting chambers: the first uses a bottom fan to circulate heated air, and the second uses a top fan. This dual airflow ensures even roasting over time. After roasting, the nuts are transferred to the cooling chamber, where they are quickly cooled and made ready for packaging. Fuel options for belt-type roasters include Gas, LPG, Diesel, and Electric. Gas, LPG, or Diesel models use burners for heating. Electric models use finned tubular heaters.

This machine features a touchscreen control panel, allowing users to create and save recipes for consistent results. The operator does not need to manually remove the product, nuts are automatically discharged into the outlet hopper.

Key features include:

  • Consistent, uniform roasting thanks to dual air flow.

  • Fully automated with touchscreen controls.

  • Ability to save recipes for repeatable results.

  • Hands-free discharge of roasted products.

  • Available with multiple fuel options: Gas, LPG, Diesel, or Electric.

Ideal for high-capacity production environments that demand consistency and automation.

Rotating Nuts Roaster Machine:

The rotating drum roaster roasts nuts in a heated, rotating drum. It can operate on Gas, LPG, Diesel, or Electricity. Once the desired temperature is reached, the operator loads the nuts while the drum rotates. After roasting, the nuts are discharged using a handle. A popular method includes roasting the nuts in heated salt. There are two discharge handles: one for removing nuts and another for removing salt or residual products.

This model has no cooling system, so the nuts are moved elsewhere to cool naturally. The operator controls only the drum speed and heat—there is no recipe-saving technology, so consistent results depend entirely on the operator’s skill.

Key characteristics:

  • Operated manually; no recipe memory or automation.

  • No integrated cooling – products must cool separately.

  • Manual discharge using dual handles (for nuts and salt).

  • Suitable for specialty roasting.

Perfect for businesses that want hands-on control over their roast or produce small, custom batches.

Which One to Choose?

  • Choose Air Type Belt Roasters if you need automation, ease of use, and consistent output.

  • Opt for Rotating Drum Roasters if you prefer manual control or want to use traditional methods and roast products together with added flavor elements like salt.
